Letter 109
I’ve been pretty silent for the last month. In actual fact, I last posted almost 6 weeks ago! The main reason for this is that I’ve been pretty wrapped up in Edinburgh’s Fringe Festival for the last 4 weeks, and prior to this I was enjoying myself far too much in Montenegro. So this post is going to primarily be a catch up and then I will resume writing about my travels.
Where do I even start with the fringe? It was crazy, fun, busy, tiresome and wonderfully weird. Edinburgh completely came alive and was buzzing for an entire month. Whilst I did get tired of battling my way through crowds on the Royal Mile and collecting a book’s worth of flyers by the end of my walk home, I did love it. I was lucky enough to have a great job working at a lego exhibition with the best team. I learnt a lot on the job and even though it was exhausting, I enjoyed it and got a lot out of it. The Fringe ended with the yearly fireworks and concert in Prince’s Street Gardens and I was completely blown away. The 50 minutes of fireworks over the castle were magnificent and I thoroughly enjoyed relaxing for the evening.
My job left me too tired to do any blogging in the evenings, therefore my site has been neglected. I have about 2 weeks of travel, mostly in Montenegro, to catch up with and I intend to do it soon because it was my absolute favourite country. The last 2 weeks of my trip were perfect and Montenegro was a completely wonderful surprise. I met great people, stayed in fantastic hostels and challenged myself in some of the most beautiful landscapes I have ever seen. So I really cannot wait to write about my adventures!
Stay tuned for posts with actual content, especially if you’re interested in hearing about the land of the black mountains.
Thanks for reading,
From Lou

You should definitely come to the fringe but I honestly think Edinburgh is better when it’s slightly less crazy at other times in the year! The Lego was super fun! Thanks for reading!
